About flameproofing construction after the event [cloth, paper, cardboard]

Since the event fire at Jingu Gaien, our company has received a lot of inquiries about flame prevention.
Events are basically stipulated to use flameproof certified products, but not all are compatible.

For example, it is difficult to obtain certification for objects created exclusively for that event, and ornaments used temporarily at Christmas, Halloween, Valentine’s events are almost never flameproof certified products It is considered.
At that time, the operating companies will come up with a solution in consultation with the venue and the fire department. In that case, we often consult.

Recently, we have received several messages from the event management company and have shipped samples.
Here it is.

An aqueous solution type flame retardant, fire retardant and flame retardant. Since it is highly effective for cellulosic materials, it can be applied to paper, cardboard, cloth, etc.

By the way, it looks like it was painted on wood and lit with gasoline. There is a big difference compared to the untreated one. If we were able to spray our products in the event fire at Jingu Gaien, we wouldn’t have burned out. Therefore, we want to appeal to end users for the spread of soufa.

Event-related products other than flameproof certified products may be able to be flame retarded with our products. In particular, any material that can absorb water can be made flame-retardant.
Isn’t it important to actually focus on “safety” without being bound by the frame of certified products?

This is a soufa-treated cotton towel. Does not burn The reason why it does not burn is that soufa reacts to heat to form a carbonized layer on the surface and cut off oxygen.
It is a mechanism that cannot burn any more because there is no oxygen.

soufa is mainly made of boric acid, which has almost no effect on the human body. The toxicity is almost the same as salt, so it can be said that it is almost non-toxic. Various tests have been conducted.
This is for Japanese paper. This also does not burn.

This is a tissue comparison experiment. I light two tissues at the same time. One has been processed. The difference is clear at a glance if you look at the video.

It burns, but burning does not proceed any further, and burning stops when the fire source is gone.

This is a newspaper. Burns but does not burn.

Here is the flame retardation of cardboard.

The point is that it can be installed later because it is an aqueous solution. It is colorless and transparent and has almost the same texture as water.
